Shaping minds and bodies of the future

Welcome to the Club!

At Tumbles, we understand that exercising young minds and bodies is important. So is having fun! Our goal is to make learning not only a great experience, but also a rewarding one. From 4 months to 9 years, our unique programs help build upon social and developmental skills in a fun and nurturing environment that's fun for you and your tumbler.

As you enjoy watching your child develop a more confident, capable mind and body right before your eyes, you'll understand why Tumbles truly is a "learning playground". Tumblers practice physical activities to develop fine and gross motor skills, spatial awareness, coordination, balance, agility, flexibility, and sports preparation. Of course, we accomplish all this in a fun, non-competitive atmosphere that allows each child to grow in his or her own way, at a comfortable pace. Our Tumblers emerge happier, healthier and better prepared to grow into young adults.

Peek into a Tumbles and your kids will see a wonderfully inspired playground with friendly, approachable instructors, who will truly make you smile as you watch your child squeal with delight. At Tumbles, we truly care about helping parents fulfil their children's physical, social and personal potential.

Why Us?

Tumbles was founded in 1985 in Solana Beach, California. The ever-increasing passion of the founders to exercise young minds and bodies led them to open 5 more locations by 2003. By 2004 the franchise program was launched, allowing others to pursue their dreams of helping children grow into happier, healthier and better prepared young adults. Over the years, Tumbles has been growing steadily with an international location in Asia. The company's mission is to continue the growing popularity of health and fitness for children by shaping these young minds and bodies on a global scale through its franchising system. It is the Tumbles motto that "we don't sell new gyms, we grow them."And as such, each new gym is cared for and nutured with only the most passionate, qualified instructors, ensuring its dedication and success.

Tumbles' mission is "shaping the minds and bodies of the future" and this philosophy is centred on these three core principles:

  1. Helping parents achieve both the physical and social goals they have for their children
  2. Allowing each child to grow in their own way and at their own pace
  3. Most important of all, for children to have fun while learning!

Our curriculum is specially designed to enhance your child's abilities in such areas as physical skills, fine and gross motor skills, spatial awareness, coordination, balance, agility, flexibility, and sports preparation. Our time tested skill and confidence-building programs concentrate on helping children gain self-esteem and physical health in a non-competitive, high-energy environment. Tumbles has also created a unique niche in children's fitness by creating programs that focus on developing not just one skill, but many skills at the same time. We offer at least eight different activities per weekly class, keeping things not only fun but also interesting and stimulating.

We offer both parent participation and independent classes for children from 4 months to 9 years. With parental encouragement and participation, children between the ages of 4 months to 3 years benefit from unique programs designed to engage and challenge each child based on his or her age and developmental milestones. From singing silly songs, to swinging on cool swings, crawling through thrilling tunnels, hanging like a monkey from a trapeze and learning how to cross the balance beam, your Tumbler will experience how fun it is to learn. For the more advanced Tumbler, ages 3 to 9 years, classes focus on such things as sports preparation, teamwork and conditioning. Tumblers learn how to serve in tennis, swing a golf club, bump a volleyball, throw a football, jump rope and conquer the rock wall. In addition to these fun activities, Tumblers also learn gymnastics skills such as forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, balance beam, turn bar and more. All activities are age-appropriate and are geared to bring out the learning adventurer in each child.

Our Classes

Tumbles growth development programs are divided into two different skill-based categories - Parent-Participation Classes for children ages 4 months to 3 years, and Independent Classes for children ages 3 to 9 years. Both programs are designed to develop many skills, rather than just one, and offer at least eight different activities per weekly class, varying week-to-week, to keep your Tumbler on their toes. With a focus on developing every child's social, physical and cognitive skills, each level is specifically designed to engage and challenge your child based on his or her age and development milestones.

Uniquely designed to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for parents and children (ages 4 months to 3 years), parent encouragement and participation are an integral part of the Parent-Participation Classes. Through a variety of music, games, activities, and parent interaction, your Tumbler will develop important skills such as hand-eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills, problem solving, sharing, and more. Depending on the age of the Tumbler, they'll sing silly songs, swing on cool swings, crawl through thrilling tunnels, hang like a monkey from a trapeze and learn how to cross the balance beam.

Designed for kids between the ages of 3-9 years of age, Independent classes take into account the needs of your older Tumbler and include sports activities and gymnastics. Our instructors are trained specifically to recognize and challenge each child's abilities in order to foster a sense of individual and team accomplishment, engaging even the most advanced kids.
